Privacy Policy
This policy covers the information collected on this page, which is a campaign page for Vizitor's visitor management system. It explains what we take, why we take it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Vizitor is operated from #694, Sector 82, JLPL, Mohali, Punjab 140307, India. Questions about this policy go to hello@vizitorapp.com.
This policy applies to this page only. The Vizitor product and its dashboard are covered by a separate policy, which you receive when you open an account.
What we collect
What you type into the form
- Name, work email and company name — required to book a demo.
- Company size — so the demo is pitched at the right scale.
- Phone number — optional. You can book a demo without it.
How you got here
If you arrived from an advertisement, the link carries campaign labels. We read them from the address bar when the page opens and store them so they survive the booking step:
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_contentandutm_term— which campaign and which ad.gclid(Google) andfbclid(Meta) — click identifiers their advertising systems attach automatically.
These describe the advertisement, not you. They tell us an enquiry came from a particular ad. They do not tell us who you are until you fill in the form.
Technical information
Like any website, this page records standard request data through our hosting and analytics providers: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed with timestamps.
Why we collect it
- To arrange and run your demo. Your name, email and company go to the person who takes the call.
- To follow up. If you book and do not attend, or ask us to follow up afterwards, we contact you about it.
- To measure our advertising. Campaign labels let us see which ads produce genuine enquiries, so we stop paying for the ones that do not.
- To keep the page working. Aggregate traffic and error data.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop you booking a demo, it only makes our campaign reporting less accurate.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of providers to run this page. They process data on our instructions, for the purposes described here:
- Cal.com — runs the booking calendar. Receives your name and email so it can create the meeting and send the invitation.
- Google — Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads. Receives measurement data and, for conversion matching, a hashed form of your email.
- Meta — advertising measurement, on the same basis.
- Our hosting provider — serves the page and keeps server logs.
Some of these providers operate outside India. Where that happens, the transfer is made under the safeguards their terms provide.
We also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become customers: retained under the product agreement instead of this policy.
- Campaign labels: 90 days in your browser. In our own records they stay attached to the enquiry for as long as the enquiry does.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything missing;
- erase your data, where we are not required to keep it;
- withdraw your consent, which stops any further processing that relied on it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.

Grievance redressal
If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer at hello@vizitorapp.com, marking the subject line "Grievance". We acknowledge within 7 days and aim to resolve within 30.
If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
This page is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data inside Vizitor is limited to the people who need it to arrange your demo. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we will tell you and the relevant authority if a breach affects your data.
Children
This page is aimed at people buying software for their workplace. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes affecting data we already hold will be notified to you by email.
